Last updated: October 2, 2026

Who we are

Pharma Inventor Inc. (“Pharma Inventor”, “we”, “us”) is a contract research organization based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through www.pharmainventor.com and when you contact us by email.

We are responsible for personal information under our control and follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), as they apply. Our Privacy Officer is accountable for this policy; see Contact us about privacy.

What we collect

When you send an inquiry

Through our contact form we collect your name and email address, and, if you choose to provide them, your organization and phone number, along with the service you’re interested in and your message.

When you email us

If you write to us, for example at info@pharmainventor.com or careers@pharmainventor.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include, such as a CV or cover letter when applying for a position.

Spam protection on the contact page

The contact page uses Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated programs. reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the page, such as your IP address and browser details, and gives an automated score that we use only to block spam.

Technical information

Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or social media tracking tools on this website.

How we use your information

We use personal information only to:

  • respond to your inquiry and discuss your project;
  • prepare proposals and quotes and provide the services you request;
  • consider job applications;
  • protect this website and our inbox from spam and misuse; and
  • meet our legal and contractual obligations.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists unless you ask us to.

Service providers and storage outside Canada

We use trusted service providers to run this website and our email. They may only use personal information to provide their services to us.

Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States and the European Union. While there, it is subject to the laws of those countries and may be accessible to their courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities.

Cookies

This website does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. On the contact page, Google reCAPTCHA may set cookies that it needs to provide spam protection; Google’s Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) and Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) apply.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block reCAPTCHA, the contact form may not work; you can always email us instead.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to maintain our business relationship and records, or as required by law. Job applications are kept for the recruitment process and, if you agree, to consider you for future openings. When information is no longer needed, we delete it securely.

How we protect it

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to inquiries and applications is limited to the people who need it to respond, and we choose service providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we have used it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • explain how we handle information, including with service providers outside Canada; and
  • stop using your information, where we are not required to keep it.

Send your request to our Privacy Officer. We may need to confirm your identity, and we will respond within the time required by law, generally 30 days.
