Job description for Industrial Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Associate, and Research Scientist positions:
Pharma Inventor, Inc. is seeking energetic, result-oriented individuals with proven track records of success to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate is expected to have extensive experience in modern organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. The candidates are expected to work independently within a team structure, design and execute synthetic routes, and troubleshoot when needed. The key responsibilities of the successful candidates include the following:

Design and synthesis of novel drug-like molecules as part of medicinal chemistry R&D endeavors.

Data collection, analysis, and interpretation of data sets. Proposal and follow-up experiments based on data trends.

Troubleshoot and optimize reaction sequences and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.

Prepare summary documents and presentations to chemistry and project teams and patent filings.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Industrial Postdoctoral Research Fellow - PhD degree in Organic Synthesis, Bioorganic or Medicinal Chemistry, with 0-2 years of Post Doctoral/Industrial experience

Research Associate - M.Sc. degree in Organic Synthesis or Medicinal Chemistry. Having relevant industrial experience is an asset.
Candidates with a B.Sc. degree who have 3-5 years of relevant industrial experience in a drug discovery organization will be considered for this position as well.

Research Scientist- Ph.D. degree in Organic Synthesis, Bioorganic or Medicinal Chemistry, with 2-5 years of relevant experience in a drug discovery organization.
Applicants who recently graduated from a Canadian University or those who hold Canadian Citizenship/Permanent Residency/Open work permit to be eligible to start working are highly encouraged to apply immediately.
Preferred Qualifications:

Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of synthetic organic chemistry

Demonstrated laboratory proficiency.

Experience with the operation of standard laboratory instrumentation (e.g., NMR, MS, automated chromatography), and data analysis.

Able to work within a team structure and effectively communicate with colleagues at all levels.

Proven research track record as evidenced by a strong publication and/or patent record.

Entrepreneurial spirit, and constantly seeking creative solutions to challenging problems. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
